On Saturday 19 September 2015 an event to mark this
anniversary Celebrating the Life of
Winifred Holtby is taking place at the History Centre. It is being
organised by Holtby scholar Gill Fildes and includes talks by a number of
Holtby experts, including her most recent biographer Professor Marion Shaw.
The day will conclude with a trip to Holtby’s birth and burial place, Rudston.

Holtby Society at the event.
